Amazon Prime Day is in full swing. Starting at 6 p.m. PST on July 10th, Amazon began rolling out discounts on thousands of items. Some items are deeply discounted only for a short period of time, while others are discounted for the entire 30-hour sale.
A discount worth noting is the Amazon Echo, a device that lets you instantly connect to Alexa to control your smart home, play music, get information, news, weather, and more. You probably already know all about Alexa.
The price of the Echo is normally $179.99, but thanks to Prime Day, you can currently get it for half off. That's right, the Echo is only $89.99. Not bad, Amazon. Not bad.
Amazon Echo Dot is also on sale. The price has dropped by $15, bringing the device down to $34.99.
Amazon's portable bluetooth speaker with Alexa, the Amazon Tap, is $50 off, making it $79.90.
So, if you've been wanting an Alexa device in your life, now's the time to snag one. There have been pretty decent sales in the past, but nothing quite as deep as 50 percent off. And there's no telling if or when it'll happen again. No pressure.
