It's the middle of the night. You have to pee. You get out of your warm, cozy bed and head to the bathroom. You have two choices: turn on the light and temporarily blind yourself, or leave the light off and hope for the best. Neither choices are great, which is why the IllumiBowl is a necessary addition to every bathroom.
Originally seen on Shark Tank, the IllumiBowl is a motion activated night light for the toilet. Simply snap it onto the rim of any toilet bowl, and an LED light will automatically illuminate the bathroom when you enter so you can find your way to the toilet without breaking an ankle.
There are eight color possibilities and patterned illuminations. You can either choose the color you prefer or let it rotate through all the colors. Use the 3-stage dimmer to adjust the intensity.
The device is easy to clean by simply wiping it down. The company claims it's splash proof, but as someone who currently has an IllumiBowl on the rim of my toilet (humblebrag), I know that isn't necessarily true. Unless you're very, very careful. But come on, no one's careful when doing toilet business.
The IllumiBowl is so popular and has done so well, the company launched a Kickstarter to help fund an updated version that will actually kill germs. Plus, it has two times the battery life.
