Moona is a water-based smart sleep system that regulates the temperature of your pillow. It promises to induce and deepen sleep by adjusting your head and neck temperature throughout the night. According to Moona, pillow temperature is key to a good night's sleep.
It connects to an app that tracks your motion and adjusts the temperature as you sleep. Cool water is pumped through the system to induce sleepiness, and warm water is pumped to gently wake you.
The system consists of four key elements: the bedside device that controls the temperature and tracks your sleep environment, a sensor that understands your sleep pattern, a water circulation tube, and a memory foam pad that you insert into your pillow case.
Moona recently launched a Kickstarter campaign, and it has already far surpassed its $50,000 funding goal. The ship date is set for June 2018. The gadget is going for $400, which is pretty pricey for a cooler pillow. But hey, if you have an extra $400 to spend on a system that may or may not help you sleep better, click here to find out more.
