Confession: I don't read many mom blogs. It's not because I'm not interested in other people's parenting styles, and it's not that I don't want helpful tips on how to raise my toddler to be a happy, healthy, well-rounded human. I'm just too lazy to read them.
But there's one blog I can't get enough of, because I can use all the help I can get in the kitchen. The Natural Nurturer is a blog written by Taesha Butler, a mom and teacher who comes up with creative, healthy, and yummy recipes that kids love. The best part? They're all packed full of veggies and healthy goodness, and kids don't even realize it.
Butler is big on throwing in as many nutritional foods into muffins, which is great, because kids love muffins (and so do adults). Her Nut-Free Paleo Chocolate Butternut Squash Muffins are ridiculously delicious (I made them this morning, and my toddler approves), but they're also nut-free and perfect to add to school lunches.
And these Grain-Free Sweet Potato Muffins? Yes, please.
She also makes nutrient-packed smoothies!
And veggie loaded waffles.
Head over to the Natural Nurturer blog to check out more recipes.
