When an athlete shines, the world takes notice. That's exactly what happened when UCLA gymnast Katelyn Ohashi took to the floor at the Anaheim Arena on Saturday.
Ohashi stunned the audience and judges with her flawless floor routine. In fact, the judges were so impressed, they gave her a perfect 10.
With her teammates and the entire crowd cheering her on, she gracefully and energetically tumbled, twirled, flipped, and body rolled all over the floor, exuding so much joy, it's impossible not to beam with pride for Ohashi.
It definitely didn't hurt that she chose the happy-inducing instrumentals of of classic R&B and pop hits, including "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire, The Jackson 5′s "I Want You Back," and Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel."
A video of Ohashi's performance quickly went viral after the UCLA Gymnastics Twitter account tweeted the incredible routine. "A 10 isn't enough for this floor routine," the tweet reads.
The video has been retweeted over 119,000 times, with over 503,000 likes. The internet clearly loves when people are awesome. And Ohashi is definitely that.
