It's about time everyone's favorite residents of Sesame Street start a podcast.
Audible and nonprofit educational organization Sesame Workshop announced the launch of a Sesame Street podcast for kids and families.
The Sesame Street Podcast With Foley & Friends will be hosted by Sesame Street's new character, Foley. It'll also feature familiar furry faces, including Big Bird, Elmo, and Cookie Monster. Each 15-minute episode will focus on a preschool topic, like vehicles, birthdays, and learning the alphabet, with lots of songs and games.
"Sesame Workshop has been one of the most respected names in family entertainment for over 50 years, and we're honored to bring this unique Sesame Street podcast to listeners," said Rachel Ghiazza, executive vp, head of US content at Audible, in a statement. "Audible offers immersive audio entertainment for a wide array of listeners, and we're thrilled to expand our children's content with this exceptional release. The Sesame Street Podcast with Foley & Friends delivers what parents need most now: educational entertainment that little ones will love, guaranteed."
The first episode of the podcast will be released on October 15th, with new episodes airing every Tuesday and Thursday exclusively on Audible.
