Another day, another streaming service launch. The latest is Discovery+ launching today, where you can watch all things HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Lifetime, OWN, and Discovery Channel's annual Shark Week.
Fans of shows like Fixer Upper with Chip and Joanna Gaines; Property Brothers; Little People, Big World; and Cutthroat Kitchen will now be able to binge all in one place, with exclusive original content eventually coming to the streaming service.
Discovery+ will start at $4.99 with ads and $6.99 without ads. Each subscriber's account allows up to five profiles, as well as streaming on four devices simultaneously. At launch, there are over 55,000 episodes available to stream, including Magnolia Table, a new series from Chip and Joanna Gaines; a new 90 Day Fiancé series; a new House Hunters series; a new Long Island Medium series; and a new travel and food series starring Food Networks' Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis.
Compatible devices include Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, and Samsung. Here's the full list of how you can watch:
As part of the launch, Discovery+ has partnered with Verizon to offer customers on the company's "Play More or Get More Unlimited" plan to receive a free year of Discovery+. Those on the "Start or Do More Unlimited" plan will get six months free. And new customers who sign up for Verizon 5G Home Internet or Fios Gigabit Connection will receive a year of free Discovery+.
