The Rugrats babies are back, and they haven't aged a bit. Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica, Lil, Phil, and Susie are headed to the new streaming service Paramount+ this spring, and they're all being voiced by the original voice actors.
Produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio, the new show will be a reimagining of the beloved '90s show, which ran from 1991 to 2004 and was the longest-running animated series on Nickelodeon. The Rugrats babies also starred in three movies: The Rugrats Movie, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, and Rugrats Go Wild.
"Rugrats is one of the most iconic cartoons recognized by fans around the globe, and this original version is one we are taking great care and pride in creating for a brand-new audience," President of Nickelodeon Animation Ramsey Naito said in a statement. "Having the voice cast behind these special characters come together is one of the essential pieces to making the show recognizable and we can't wait to watch this talented group bring them to life again."
