If you're still willing to dive into ​The Handmaid's Tale​, even though it's proving to be closer to terrifying real life events than you might be comfortable with, the season 5 trailer has been released along with the premiere date.


Season four ended with June Osborne (Elizabeth Moss), along with several women, beating Fred Waterford to death in the woods. Her husband finds her the next day, covered in blood, in her daughter Nichole's room.

The season 5 trailer shows that there's much drama ahead, particularly with Serena Waterford (Yvonne Strahovski).

Hulu has confirmed that ​The Handmaid's Tale​ season 5 will begin on Sept. 14 in the U.S., with the international release dates to follow. The season will begin with a two-episode premiere and new episodes airing every Wednesday on Hulu.
