How Can I Save a Photo Using Snapfish?

Hewlett-Packard's online photo service, Snapfish, allows users to upload, edit, order and share photos. If you want to save a photo from a Snapfish photo album to your computer, you have two options. You can save a basic low-resolution photo for free, or you can order high-resolution photos that you can immediately purchase and download to your computer.

Free Low-Resolution Photos

Step 1

Log in to your Snapfish account, click the "Photos" tab, and then click the album that contains the photo you want to save.

Step 2

Click the photo, and then click "View larger" under the photo.

Step 3

Right-click anywhere on the photo, and select the "Save," "Save Image As" or "Save Picture As" option.

Step 4

Type a name for your photo if you want to rename it, and select the location on your computer where you want to save the picture.

Step 5

Click "Save."

High-Resolution Photos

Step 1

Log in to Snapfish, and click the "Photos" tab.

Step 2

Click "Get hi-res photos" on the toolbar on the right side of the page, and click "download photos."

Step 3

Click the "open album" button and click the photo or photos that you want to download. You can order up to 50 photos at a time.

Step 4

Click "add photos."

Step 5

Click "add more photos" if you want to add photos from other albums to your order.

Step 6

Click "Check out" to review your order, enter your billing information and place your order.

Step 7

Click the yellow "download now" button when you order is complete, and select a location on your computer to save the photo or photos.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you order hi-res photos, you can click the link in the confirmation email any time within 30 days to download the pictures.
