Your favorites folder on your computer houses all of the links that you have marked as “favorites” in Internet Explorer. In the Firefox and Safari Web browsers, these are referred to as “Bookmarks.” If you want to view all of your favorites at once or make changes to your favorites, you can do so by viewing the contents of the actual folder. Each user, or user name, on your computer has his own separate favorites folder.
Go to “My Computer” in Windows XP and double click on the "C:" drive. Then double click on “Documents and Settings,” your user name and then “Favorites” to view the folder in XP.
Double click on the "C:" drive from “My Computer” in Windows Vista and Windows 7. Double click on “Users,” your user name, “Roaming” and then the “Favorites” folder to view the folder in Vista or 7.
Use the “Run” command from the "Start" menu and key in “shell:Favorites” to pull up the favorites folder in Windows XP, Vista or 7.
