How Do I Block Calls on a House Phone?

By Christell York

Call block allows the user to prevent unwanted and unsolicited calls from being received to their home phone. This service gives the user the ability to block up to six phone numbers, including the most recent call to the telephone. Once calls are blocked, the caller will get a message stating that their call cannot be completed until their number is unblocked using the same system. Call blocking can be turned on and off at the user's discretion.

Step 1

Dial "*60" from the phone you would like to block the number from calling.

Step 2

Dial the number you would like to block. The prompt will give you the option to block the last number that called the phone; you may select yes or no to block that number.

Step 3

Dial each number you wish to block to set up a list of blocked numbers.
