Poor service and dropped calls are the most annoying parts of owning a cell phone. If Sprint's service isn't living up to your expectations, its time to cancel your wireless plan. Unfortunately, Sprint doesn't allow customers to cancel service online. In order to cancel your wireless plan, you will have to call sprint directly or visit one of their retail locations.
Dial *2 from your Sprint phone. This will connect you to a Sprint Representative. Be prepared to give the representative your name, phone number, password or PIN to verify that you are authorized to make changes on the account. Once your identity has been verified the Representative will cancel your wireless plan.
If you want to cancel your plan but still keep service, you can cancel you plan online. Log onto your Sprint account and click on "Change plan." From there you will be prompted to either change your plan or add another line. Click on the change plan option for a list of plans that are available. Click on the plan that you want and press "OK" You will then get a confirmation email advising you of the changes made to your account.
Visit a Sprint retail location. At a Sprint retail store you can cancel service and change plans. Be prepared to give the representatives at the store your account password or show a photo ID so they can verify you are authorized to make changes on the account.
