How do I Change Printing Font Sizes?

When you print a document from your computer the size of the font is determined by the software you are using and not the printer. Changing the size of the font will mean you can fit different amounts of text on a single sheet of paper, which is useful if you are writing a letter and are pushed for space or need to make words larger. The font size can be easily adjusted from within the application you are printing from in just a few seconds.

Changing font size is easy.

Step

Open the file you want to print on your computer. For example, a Word document.

Step

Wait for the application to load. Click "Edit" then "Select All" to highlight all the text in the document.

Step

Click the drop-down menu next to the name of the font; it will contain a list of numbers. These numbers correspond to the size of the font--the larger the number the bigger the font. Select one that suits the document you are printing.

Click "File" then "Print" to print the document. When the print menu appears click "Print" again.
