How to Change a Microsoft Office Outlook Password

Microsoft Outlook is Microsoft's personal information manager that you can use to organize contacts, email and appointments. From time to time, you may want to change your Outlook password. Doing so every few months is a good way to help keep your personal information secure.

Step 1

Open Outlook. Go to the "Tools" menu and click on "Options."

Step 2

Click the tab labeled "Others" when the "Options" dialog box opens. Then click on "Advanced Options," then "Custom Forms."

Step 3

Click on "Password," then enter the details in the "Change Windows Password" section. Click the "OK" button four times when you are done to finish changing your Outlook password.
