How to Change Filters in Outlook Calendar

While Microsoft Outlook is used by many people to manage their appointments, events, and other calendar items, the software allows for a high degree of customization to fit a user's individual needs and preferences. Filters can be applied to the View settings on the Calendar, thus changing its look. You can use this method to personalize your Calendar view in Outlook.

Step

Open Outlook and navigate to your Calendar.

Step

Click on the "View" menu, and from the drop-down menu that appears, select "Arrange By." Select "Current View," and then click on "Define Views."

Step

Select the View Name entry for which you wish to change the filters, and click the "Modify" button.

Step

Click on the "Filter" button, and the Filter dialog box will open.

Step

Make the filter changes to suit your preferences, then click "OK" to finish.
