By Michelle Varsallona

If you feel that your Yahoo account has been compromised, you need to change the password as soon as possible. Even if your account is secure, it is always a good idea to change your passwords every so often just for extra security. This will reduce the chance of people being able to get a hold of your account and personal information. The safety of your email, contacts, calendar and any other information you are storing on your Yahoo account is a top priority when it comes to protecting your computer and personal information.
