How to Check an AT&T Balance
Many cell phone owners choose AT&T prepaid phones because they are a more budget conscious choice. You decide how much you want to spend monthly on your cell phone and you're not locked into a contract. Even with all of these pluses, it is not uncommon to look up and not have any funds or minutes remaining on your phone when you need them the most. You can avoid this by staying on top of your AT&T balance via your handset or online.
Dial *225# to check the balance or *646# to check your remaining minutes on the AT&T phone.
Press the "Send" key.
Click to open the new text message from AT&T. The message will have your remaining monetary or minute balance.
Go to ATT's MyGoPhone page. See Resources for website.
Click the "Go to account management" option located under Manage Your GoPhone Account.
Enter your 10-digit wireless GoPhone number and the four-digit PIN. If you don't remember the PIN, select "Forgot My Password." Then enter your 10-digit number again in the corresponding field to retrieve the PIN.
Find the "Main Account Balance" portion on the Account Summary page. Your remaining monetary and minute balance is listed there.
