How to Clean the Nozzles on Brother LC61 Printers

By Tamara Runzel

Clogged print nozzles can cause printing problems in any printer, from missing colors to faint colors. Cleaning the print nozzles on a Brother LC61 ink cartridge may solve any printing problems. The LC61 ink cartridges are used in more than a dozen Brother printers. After you clean the print head, which cleans the nozzles, print a test page to see if the print quality improved.

Clean the Nozzles

Step 1

Press “Ink,” “Ink/Reports,” “Ink Management/Reports” or “Ink Management” on your printer. The key depends on the model of your printer.

Step 3

Press “Menu/Set” to select the option.
