Overheating is a common issue for laptops. This may occur when dust clogs the heat sink, which will stop the flow of air. Learn how to clear the air flow by cleaning the cooling fans of Toshiba laptops.
Turn off the laptop, close the lid, flip it upside down and rest it on a flat surface.
Locate the cooling fan, which is under the vents on the bottom of the laptop.
Spray the compressed air can inside the vents for 5 to 10 seconds. Change the air direction until all the dust is cleared.
