How to Clear the Calendar in Outlook

By Mercedes T. Green

You use your calendar to track every holiday, event, meeting and appointment. The Outlook calendar items are stored in the personal folders file (.pst), and survive every software upgrade and system patch. Clear the calendar items from Outlook when they are no longer needed to keep the .pst file small. You may find that this is best accomplished at the end of every year, before each upgrade or in preparation for data migration to another computer.
