How to Connect a Sony Handycam to a Computer

Sony’s Handycam camcorders are great video recorders that are available in standard definition, high definition and professional grade setups. Once recorded onto a DV tape, an HDV tape or a hard drive, users have the option of transferring their videos to a computer. This opens the door for video editing, archiving and transferring to a DVD or Blu-Ray disc. Whether you recorded a family vacation or an amateur short film, all the tools are at your disposal.
