How to Connect a TV Receiver to U-Verse Service

By Bryan Roberts

AT&T U-Verse service provides digital cable programming for any users with the proper U-Verse cable receivers. Once the receiver is connected to a television, the users can view the hundreds of cable channels available with AT&T U-Verse. If you wish to connect this cable box to a television, you can do so easily.

Things You'll Need

  • Coaxial cable
  • Component cables or RCA cables

Step 1

Connect one end of your coaxial cable to an available coaxial wall socket near your television. Connect the other end of this cable to the input coaxial port on the back of your cable box.

Step 2

Connect one end of your component or RCA cables to the proper output ports on the back of your cable box. Connect the other ends of this cable to the proper ports on the back of your television.

Step 3

Turn your television and cable box on. Change your televisions channel to the proper video output channel for your device. You should now see the signal from your U-Verse cable box on your television.
