How to Connect an iPhone to My Wi-Fi Server

Connecting to Wi-Fi may help your Internet run faster and may improve the performance of some of your apps. Connecting to Wi-Fi is sometimes required for large file transfers and downloads. You can connect to Wi-Fi quickly and easily from your iPhone.
Tap "Settings" from your Home screen.
Tap "Wi-Fi" from your Settings screen.
Tap "On/Off" to turn on your Wi-Fi capabilities.
Tap the name of your network from the list of available networks.
Type in the password for your Wi-Fi network if you are prompted to do so. If your network requires a password, a lock symbol will be pictured to the right of the network's name.
