How to Connect an LG Mobile Phone to Wireless Internet

By Greyson Ferguson

Although LG has a long line of electronic devices, the company is most known for its mobile phones. These phones are used by a majority of the major wireless companies, and often the same phone is used by all of the wireless providers. In addition, many LG mobile phones in production allow users to access and surf the Internet via a wireless connection.

Things You'll Need

  • LG wireless phone

Step 1

Contact your wireless provider and order an Internet package. If your Internet package does not appear on your monthly bill, you are going to be charged per kilobyte downloaded. This can be very expensive (hundreds of dollars per month). The package — $10 to $20 — can save you a good deal of money.

Step 2

Power on your LG mobile phone after you have subscribed to an Internet package. Bring up the menu.

Step 3

Select "Internet." The phone will attempt to connect to the Internet via its wireless connection. Depending on your signal strength, this may take a few moments.

Step 4

Type in the website address information using the keypad. The Internet you are going to access is slightly different from the Internet you find on a computer. It will be more compact with only the important data of the site presented.
