How to Connect the iPhone to a PC Wirelessly

The iPhone is one of the most popular and advanced smartphones in the world. A smartphone combines functions of a phone and a computer. It is basically a device that has an advanced connectivity and enhanced computing options, while running on a special operating system. When connected to a computer, the iPhone can share and transfer files. It's not difficult to connect your iPhone with your computer wirelessly.

Step 1

Click "Start," then choose "Control Panel" and open the "Network and Sharing Center" on your computer. Create a new network on your PC and give it a new name.

Step 2

Select "Set up a new connection or network" to open a small window. The last option in the window will be about setting up an ad hoc network for sharing files.

Step 3

Set a password if your want to make your new wireless group secure. Choose "WPA2-Personal" under the security options.

Step 4

Search for the group you just made on your iPhone. Click on the "Settings" icon and then the "Wi-Fi Network" icon. Choose the name of the group you just made by tapping on it.

Step 5

Drag and drop files for sharing using Avatron's Air Sharing app, or similar.
