How to Convert a PDF to Word Software

By Cooper Temple

Portable Document Format (PDF) is a common file format used to convert material from Productivity and other programs into a file type that is easily accessible by those without the source software. Any user with a PDF reader program, most of which are available for free, may launch and view a PDF file. Although you can edit PDF files with certain PDF writing programs, you may also convert them to other file types, such as Microsoft Word. You can convert a PDF to Word software with the right program by following a few steps.

Things You'll Need

  • PDF writing program
  • Microsoft Word

Download an Adobe Acrobat PDF writing program. All three versions of Acrobat---Standard, Pro and Pro Extended---have a feature that allows you to convert PDF files directly to Word software.
