How to Convert MP4 Video to WMV
You can freely and easily convert MP4 video to the WMV format. Although MP4 (MPEG Layer 4) video files are generally more universal than WMV (Windows Media Video) files, sometimes you will need the WMV format. For example, if you have a Flip camcorder and want to edit its MP4 video outputs in Windows Movie Maker, you need to convert the MP4s to the WMV. An online freeware program called "Any Video Converter" is all you need to make that conversion.
Things You'll Need
- "Any Video Converter" freeware program
Launch the "Any Video Converter" program.
Click "Add Video" at upper left. Browse for and select the MP4 video(s) you want to convert. To select multiple files, hold down the Ctrl key and click every file you want to convert. Click "Open."
In the "Profile" drop-down menu at upper right, choose "Customized WMV Movie (*.wmv*)."
