Download Helper is an extension for Mozilla's Firefox browser that allows you to download different content from the website you're viewing. If you don't have Firefox, head to Firefox.com, download and install the browser (see Resources).
Next download the Download Helper extension at DownloadHelper.net (see Resources). A dialogue box will ask you if you want to accept extensions from the site, click "Yes" and the extension will install. Click "Yes" to restart Firefox for the extension to take effect. A greyed-out logo appears next to your address bar; this logo will animate and light up when you view an object you can download.
Find your video on the web and click to play it. Click the animated Download Helper logo next to the address bar and a pop-down list will appear with different file names ending in .flv. Click the name of the video to download.
