Email is a common means of communication. It is a fast and effective way to correspond. Internet-based email accounts give the added feature of being available to check your email from any location. You do not have to be at your home computer to check this type of email account. All you need is a computer with Internet access. One of the most popular ones to use is Google's email, which is known as Gmail.

Type a "Secondary Email" address in the space provided. Do this if you want to be able to verify your account in the case of lost password or other problems.

Review information you have inserted. Make any desired alterations to it. Click on the "I accept. Create my account" button on the button. You will be taken to your newly created Google email (Gmail) account.
Tips & Warnings
- When selecting a log-in name for your Google email (Gmail) account, remember this is going to be part of the actual email address. Choose an appropriate one to use. It also has to be between six and 30 characters long. You will see information about the password you are typing next to the "Password strength" link. If it is too short, you will be informed and it displays the overall strength of it. Try to create a password that is "Strong."
- Do not have your computer remember your Google email account information, if you are using one that is accessed by other people. This will prevent anyone from opening your Gmail account.
