How to Delete a Jibjab Account
JibJab is an Internet website that offers entertainment, social and political satire and other videos referencing popular culture and current events. The website allows users to create an account to receive regular updates about things happening with the website. JibJab offers paid membership options and free membership options, the former having more exclusive privileges and the latter being more limited. If you are tired of receiving updates from JibJab and no longer want to be a part of their mailing system or paid membership, you can delete your JibJab account.
Free Account Cancellation
Go to the JibJab home page.
Click on “Login” in the upper-right corner.
Enter your account information; this is your email address and password you created when you opened the account.
Click “Sign in.”
Scroll over to “My Account” and click it.
Scroll down to “My Info."
Click on “Newsletter Preferences." Remove the check mark from this box to stop JibJab from emailing you. However, if you want to cancel the account entirely, click on the "Contact" tab at the bottom of the screen.
Check the tab that says "Free Account."
Enter your name and email address. In the body, type a short email stating that you want to cancel your account and press the "Submit" button. When the administrators cancel your account, the website will send you an email confirmation.
Paid Account Cancellation
Call the customer service line at 323-400-6307.
Leave a message on the automatic voice mail stating that you want to cancel your paid subscription. Include your name and email address by speaking clearly. Alternatively, you can simply cancel your account's auto-renewal so that your account will expire at the end of the month.
Email JibJab at "firstname.lastname@example.org" to request that your account be deleted.
State that you want to cancel your account in the email.
Write the email address that your account is under in the email.
State the full name on the credit card that the account is under in the email as well.
State the date of your most recent account charge. You will receive a confirmation email that will include when your account will be cancelled and any outstanding charges you have on your account, if applicable.
