How to Delete Multiple Contacts in an iPhone

The iPhone is a smart phone manufactured and marketed by Apple Inc. The iPhone features a built-in Contacts application that you can use to organize and view your contacts directly from your iPhone. You can delete contacts directly from the application using the edit function. It is not possible to select multiple contacts to delete from the application simultaneously. However, you can delete multiple contacts individually.

Step 1

Tap the "Contacts" application.

Step 2

Tap the contact you want to delete.

Step 3

Tap the "Edit" button located in the upper-right of the Contacts application.

Step 4

Scroll down to the bottom of the contact and press the red "Delete Contact" button.

Step 5

Confirm that you want to delete the contact by pressing the red "Delete Contact" button.

Step 6

Repeat for all of the contacts you want to delete.
