How to Delete Multiple Photo Albums on Facebook

By Dan Howard

Facebook is a great way to share pictures with friends, family and other acquaintances in your social network. However, sometimes you may wish to delete photo albums that are outdated or were a bad idea to post in the first place. No function is available in Facebook for deleting multiple photo albums with a single click, but you can quickly and easily delete unwanted albums by opening each in a new browser tab and repeating a few simple procedures.

Step 1

Navigate your Web browser to the Facebook website. Log in to Facebook with your username and password.

Step 2

Click the "Profile" link located in the upper-right corner of your main Facebook page. Doing so will open your Facebook profile page.

Step 3

Click the "Photos" link on the left side of your profile page to display your uploaded photo albums.

Step 4

Right-click each photo album that you wish to delete and choose "Open in a New Tab" or "Open in a New Window."

Step 5

Click on the tab or window that corresponds to the first photo album that you would like to delete.

Step 6

Scroll to the bottom of the album page and click the "Edit Album" link.

Step 7

Click the "Delete" tab near the top of the ensuing window. Click the blue Delete button to permanently delete the selected album from Facebook.

Step 8

Switch to the next browser tab or window that contains a photo album that you would like to delete. Repeat the "Edit Album" and "Delete" procedure until all desired albums are deleted.
