How to Delete Twitter Feeds on Facebook

By Lisa DiVirgilio

Facebook and Twitter can be two very addicting social media networks. However, if you once thought it was a great idea to combine Twitter "tweets" and Facebook status updates into one feed, you now may be regretting it. Don't worry, in just a few simple steps you'll be able to delete your Twitter feed on your Facebook account. This will not delete your Twitter or Facebook account—it will simply make them two separate entities again.

Step 1

Log in to your Facebook account and click on the "Applications" tab in the bottom-left corner. Click on "Edit Applications."

Step 2

Find the Twitter application. Click on the "X" sign next to the application.

Step 3

Click on the "Remove" button when a dialog box pops up to ask you if you want to remove the application.

Step 4

Once you have clicked "Remove," the application will no longer be able to access your Twitter information, therefore blocking your Twitter updates from automatically being shown on your Facebook account.

Tips & Warnings

  • While you are in the applications section of your Facebook profile, it is always a good idea to do a little "spring cleaning." Be sure to check if you want all the applications that you have. If not, you can remove them by repeating the same steps you did to remove the Twitter application from your account.
