- IPhone dock connector cable
- ITunes 8 or later
Open iTunes. Insert one end of the dock connector cable into the iPhone and the other end into the USB port on the computer.
Click "Help" on the iTunes' menu, then click "Run Diagnostics."
Click the "Device Connectivity Tests" checkbox, then click "Next."
Click "Copy to Clipboard" or "Save" to save the iTunes Diagnostics report in your computer's word processing program. Click "Close."
