How to Do a Screen Shot on an Inspiron 1525
Capture screen shots of your Dell Inspiron 1525 with the Windows Snipping Tool. The Snipping Tool will allow you to take a picture of all or any portion of your Inspiron 1525 screen. The snip application also lets you save, annotate and share the screen shot. The Snipping Tool screen shot options include "Full-Screen Snip," "Window Snip," "Rectangular Snip" and "Free Form."
Click the "Start" button on your taskbar.
Type "Snipping Tool" into the search field. Select the "Snipping Tool" program from the list of search results.
Prepare your desktop for the screen shot if you are applying a "Full-Screen Snip" or a "Window Snip."
Click the drop-down arrow next to "New" in the Snipping Tool program window.
Select "Full-Screen Snip" to take a full-screen shot. Or, select "Window Snip" to capture the window. The program will capture the shot automatically and the Mark Up window will appear.
Select "Free Form Snip" or "Rectangular Snip" to capture a screen shot of a portion of your screen. Then click and drag your mouse over the area you want to capture. Release the mouse to capture the image. The Mark Up window will appear.
Click the "Save Snip" icon in the Mark Up window. Name the screen shot, choose a location for the file, then click "Save."
