How to Download Netflix to a Hard Drive

By Avery Martin

Watching Netflix movies from your computer provides you with access to the entire library of streaming movies and TV episodes available through the website. The service requires you to install a browser add-on to stream movies to your computer. The software saves a portion of the movie to your computer to prevent your content from cutting out in the middle of the movie or television show. For slower Internet connections, you can buffer the video for a few minutes to allow Netflix to download a portion of the movie to your computer and improve your video performance.
