How to Download Videos on Your MP3 Player

By Cameron Easey

MP3 players that are manufactured today typically have a view screen built into the drive. This screen allows the user to view images and video on the device. As a result, videos that are downloaded or transferred to the device can be played back using the video playback component. You can download movies into your MP3 player after you determine what type of movie files are compatible with the device.

Things You'll Need

  • USB connector cable

Step 1

Plug one end of the USB connector cable into the MP3 player. Plug the other end of the cable into a USB port on your computer.

Step 2

Power on the phone. Wait while Windows recognizes the device and loads the software drivers that are required.

Step 3

Go to the main menu on the MP3 player. Select the "Settings" option. Find and select the option for "USB Mode" or "USB Connection."

Step 4

Go to the Windows Start menu and select the "Computer" or "My Computer" option. Find the icon for the MP3 player under "Removable Devices."

Step 5

Double-click the icon for your MP3 player to display various folder options. Look for a folder that says "Video."

Step 6

Gather the movies that you want to transfer to the MP3 player on your system. Copy and paste the files into the "Video" folder on your MP3 player.
