How to Enable Cookies & JavaScript on a Cell Phone

Internet scripting including JavaScript and cookies may, depending on your cell phone, be disabled. This is to protect your phone from any security holes that may exist because of those scripting languages. Enabling JavaScript will be in your mobile phone's Internet or browser options. This will generally be the same process for different phones, but you will have to find the options for each.

BlackBerry

Step 1

Open the BlackBerry browser.

Step 2

Press "Menu." Open "Options."

Step 3

Scroll down to "Enable JavaScript." Press the trackpad in to enable it.

Step 4

Scroll down to "Accept Cookies." Press the trackpad in to enable it. Press the return button.

Step 5

Select "Save" to save changes.

iPhone

Step 1

Tap "Settings."

Step 2

Open "Safari" settings.

Step 3

Tap the "Off" switch next to "JavaScript."

Step 4

Tap the "Accept Cookies" tag to scroll through cookie options.

Step 5

Press the "Home" button to exit the settings and save the changes.

Android

Step 1

Open the Android browser.

Step 2

Press the "Menu" button.

Step 3

Open "More."

Step 4

Open "Settings."

Step 5

Check the "Enable JavaScript" box. Press "Back" and choose "Save."
