How to Enable Java in Internet Explorer 8

Step 1

Download and install the latest version of Java. To do so, go to Java page and click "Free Java Download" (see Resources).

Step 2

Click the "Tools" menu located on the top of your IE8 web browser and click "Internet Options" to launch the "Browser Options" console.

Step 3

Click the "Advanced" tab and click the "Use JRE..." option under "Java." Click "Apply" to save the changes, and then click "OK" to close the "Browser Options" console.
