How to Enable Recording on RealPlayer

RealPlayer is a popular media player that allows users to download, stream music and videos, rip CDs, watch movies and transfer media files to an MP3 player. The most recent version of RealPlayer includes a recording feature, which can be used to record streamed content, as well as a video editing feature. Users can enable recording in RealPlayer by accessing the application's settings. After enabling recording, users can begin recording streamed music and videos.

Step 1

Open RealPlayer.

Step 2

Click on the black RealPlayer button on the main toolbar and select "Preferences." The "Preferences" window will appear on the screen.

Step 3

Click on the "Download & Recording" option, which is located in the "Category" pane.

Step 4

Check the box next to "Enable Web Download & Recording for These Installed Browsers," and click "OK" to save your setting.
