How to Enlarge Portrait Photos on Tumblr

By Irene A. Blake

Tumblr users who want to enlarge portrait photo sizes are usually focusing on one or more pages of the site. The avatar photo featured on the Dashboard or blog portrait area, if available in your blog theme, is described as a portrait photo. Portraits also may appear on the Dashboard stream, in the Tumblr blog Description area or anywhere else on a blog page. Although Tumblr doesn’t allow users to enlarge the Dashboard avatar photo, you can make an avatar photo larger on your Tumblr blog page, as well as enlarge portrait photos that appear on your Dashboard and blog pages.
