How to Find a Canadian Phone Number
Finding a phone number anywhere in the world is simple when you use online directories. Phone numbers in Canada are listed in area phone books and online at the Canada411 website. Follow these directions to find the Canadian phone number you need.
Find a Personal Phone Number
Open your Internet browser. Go to the Canada411 website to search for a person's name and phone number.
Click "Find a Person." This will open a new window in which you must enter the person's information.
Type the person's first name in the "Name" box. Make sure there is check mark in the "Begins With" box so that the search engine looks for all names beginning with the first letter of the searched name. Typing in the whole first name is optional but your will get a better result if you use a full name.
Insert the person's last name in the "Last Name" box. This is a required field. You can check mark the "Begins With" option but it is better to have the full last name.
Add the city or postal code into the "City or Postal Code" box. The search engine will then look in a specific area for the person.
Click the arrow at the end of the "Province" box and select a province from the list.
Click "Search." The full address and phone number will appear.
Find a Business Phone Number
Open your Internet browser. Go to the Canada411 website to search for the business name and phone number.
Click "Find a Business." This will open a new window, in which you must enter the business information.
Type a city or postal code in the "Location" box.
Click "Find." The search engine will display the Canadian business name and phone number.
