By Kelly Gray

A variety of websites are available to complete a reverse search. After finding the business name, you can also find a toll-free number.

Step 1

Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. Enter "White Pages" in the search box at the top right of the screen. Select one of the white pages options listed.

Step 2

Select the "Reverse Phone" tab along the top of the page. Enter the phone number into the search box. Select "Find."

Step 3

Search the list of results provided. Select the business that matches the phone number entered into the search field. Write the business name on a piece of paper.

Step 4

Enter the business name into the browser's search box. Select "Search," and open the web page for the business. Select the "Contact Us" tab, which is usually at the bottom of the home page. A toll-free number should be among the contact options.
