How to Find the Serial Number of an iPhone

You can find your iPhone’s serial number through the iTunes program on your computer or by accessing your device’s About screen. Your iPhone’s serial number is a unique number that identifies your particular iPhone. This number is important because it can help the police to identify you as the device’s owner if your iPhone is ever lost or stolen. Additionally, you need to supply Apple with your iPhone’s serial number before you can access your phone's warranty protection.
