How to Fix Microsoft Internet Explorer for Free
Internet Explorer is a web browser created by Microsoft. There are several problems that may be associated with Internet Explorer. For example, Internet Explorer may become slow, stop responding or crash. Generally, Internet Explorer can be fixed by resetting the Internet Explorer settings. The best thing about this fix is that it does not cost a penny. These instructions for resetting Internet Explorer apply to the Internet Explorer 8 web browser.
Close Internet Explorer 8.
Click on the "Start" menu.
Type "Run" into the "Search Programs and Files" box and press "Enter." The Run dialog box opens.
Type "inetcpl.cpl" into the Run dialog box and click "OK." The Internet Options dialog box opens.
Click on the "Advanced" tab.
Click on "Reset" under "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" and then click "Reset" again.
Start Internet Explorer. The problem should be fixed.
