How to Get a URL on Facebook

By Mario Calhoun

Prior to June 2009, Facebook users were identified by a series of numbers behind the facebook.com URL, which created a direct link to their personal profile. Users are now able to create a personal username to make it easier for others to search for them and provide a user-friendly link to their profiles. After your initial username change you are only allowed to change it once, according to the rules and guidelines of Facebook.
