How to get free ringtones on Android
Custom ringtones let you distinguish your wife from your business partner without requiring you to look at the screen of your Android-powered phone when it rings. These audio cues are not only helpful, but you can download several apps that provide additional ringtones for free if you don't like the options that came with your phone. This ensures that you can always identify an incoming message or other alerts as belonging to your phone without looking at it.
Log on to the Zedge website in your computer's browser.
Click the "Select your device" icon and type in your phone's model name. Click it when it appears on screen.
Navigate through the ringtones using the categories on the front page or the "Ringtones" navigation app. When you see one that you'd like, click "Get ringtone" to move to the preview page. On the preview page, click the "Get Ringtone" button.
Choose "Download" to save it to your computer and then transfer it to your phone. You can also scan the QR code on your phone to download it directly or send it to your mail to download it from there.
Move the file to the "Ringtones" folder on your SD card to be able to choose it from your settings. You can use a program like ES File Explorer, Astro File Manager or Root Explorer. You can also create a Ringtones folder if it doesn't exist.
Visit the Myxer website on your computer's browser.
Hover over "Ringtones" on the menu bar to view the categories. Click a category to begin browsing.
Click "Get It" beneath any tone to view the preview page. Click the "Get Ringtone" button to view the download options.
Type your phone number into the text box and click "Next" to proceed. Click "Send" on the download page to text the link to your phone. Alternatively, on the preview page you can scan the QR code or send a text message to your phone with the Myxer-specific code for this ringtone.
Move the file to your ringtones directory with a file manager app.
Visit the Mobiles24 website.
Locate a song you'd like to use as a tone. Click the name. On the song page, you'll see a mobile URL and song code.
Visit that URL in your phone's browser. Type in the download ID and click "Download." Move the song to your Ringtones folder to view it as an option when changing your tone.
