How to Get PIP on a Samsung HDTV

If you wish you could catch both sporting events and other programs at the same time, you can with Samsung's PIP feature. The PIP (picture-in-picture) feature on the Samsung HDTV allows users to view a primary and secondary channel all from one main screen. With a few clicks of the remote control, you can have the freedom to view two channels simultaneously from a cable source or other component sources such as HDMI or PC connections.

Things You'll Need

  • Samsung remote control

Step 1

Turn on your Samsung HDTV with the remote control and switch it to a channel you want to include in the PIP feature.

Step 2

Press the "Menu" button on your Samsung remote and select the "Set-up" tab.

Step 3

Choose the option "PIP" and press the "Select" button located on your remote to bring up the PIP menu.

Step 4

Enter the channel number in the PIP menu box. For example, if you entered channel 43 before pressing the "Menu" button and you enter channel 05 in the PIP menu box, the two channels that will appear side-by-side using the PIP feature will be channels 43 and 05.

Step 5

Press "Exit" on the remote control to exit the setup menu and view the two channels simultaneously on your Samsung HDTV.
