Depending on your preferences and intended uses, Google Chrome might not be the ideal browser for you. For example, according to TopTenReviews, Google Chrome lacks parental controls and email support. If these features are important to you, then you may be better off using one of the several other browsers that offer them. If you conclude that you would rather use a different browser, you do not need to leave Google Chrome on your computer. Instead, you can get rid of it.
Click the "Start" button in the lower left corner of your screen, and then click "All Programs."
Find and then click the "Google Chrome" folder in the list that appears. Click the "Uninstall Google Chrome" option within this folder.
Choose a new default browser and select whether to delete your browsing data. Click "Uninstall," and then click "OK."
